Stone and Engineered Stone Fabrication

As a 2 day guest you will participate in the following segments:

· Finish a custom granite kitchen top. We will take you from template to installation

· Brief classroom topics: Job layout, Quoting, Industrial Diamonds, Safe handling of stone

· Tried and true hand processing methods (shaping and polishing with wet polishers)

· Portable profiling / polishing machines (Master 3500)

· Introduction to high production tools

· Undermount bowl hole cutting / shaping / polishing

· Seaming, laminating, sealing and color enhancing

· Install under-mount sinks without drilling anchor holes

3rd day schedule will include:

· Surface scratch removal

· Repairs and problem solving

· Continuation of any hands-on segment  

We train using wet processes for safe fabrication (no dust masks required)
